On 23 September the Startups Experts Council, consisting of representatives of the venture market, investments funds and Innopolis, held on the sidelines of the Kazan Digital Week forum reviewed seven new IT projects.

Projects approved by the Experts Council are given the status of the resident of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Innopolis that gives a number of advantages to companies, such as reduced taxes, access to co-working and educational practices from leading IT specialists, services from partners for the amount of 1m roubles, help in head hunting and other preferences.

At its 34th session Tatarstan State Council has approved the appointment of Yevgeniy Varakin, who was recommended by the President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov, to the position of Deputy Prime Minister of the republic.

The Tatarstan State Council has passed the law prolonging till 31 December 2025 the reduced tax rate from 5 to 1 per cent for IT-companies and entrepreneurs working by simplified taxation system in Inoppolis.

On 22 September, speaking at the Governors’ round table “Digital Russia” at of the Kazan Digital Week Forum in Kazan, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister  Roman Shaykhutdinov told about digital transformation of the republic.

He reminded that by a Decree of Russian President the digital transformation has been stated as one of five national development aims by 2023 and listed the main indicators to be reached by this year compared to 2019.

On September 14, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister, Chairman of the board of Tatspirtprom Distillery Aleksey Pesoshin held a regular board meeting of the company.

On 13 September, speaking at a briefing with all regional municipalities at the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov said that Russian Minister of Agriculture is planning to allocate additional 679m roubles to the republic, including 658m for subsidizing the encashed grain and 21 m for stimulating production of vegetable oil plants.

On 10 September, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pasoshin with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov joining it  online at the Government house of the republic, the regional Minister of Land and Property Matters Fanil Agliullin reported that as of the end of the first six months of the current year there are 10 state controlled and 114 municipal unitary enterprises registered in the republic.

On 9 September Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, Mayor of Innopolis Ruslan Shagaleyev and Director General of Innopolis Special Economic Zone Renat Khalimov took part in an opening ceremony of CrossConf conference that gathered more than 600 participants, representing IT developers, managers and people interested in high-tech.

On September 8, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin chaired a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic with participation of Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, representatives of ministries and departments on the key parameters of the forecast for socio-economic development of Tatarstan for 2023-2025, the forecast of the consolidated budget of the region for 2023 and for the planned period of 2024 and 2025 and the draft budget of the Territorial Fund of Compulsory Medical Insurance of the republic for 2023 and the planned period 2024 and 2025.

On September 8, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees of the financial industry on their professional holiday - Day of the financier.
