President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and representatives of Malaysian consortium comprised of AJM Planning&Urban Design Group, Straits Consulting Engineers, AmanahCapitalGroupLimited (ACGL) have discussed the concept of “SMART City Kazan” master plan and further implementation of the project at Tatarstan Government House.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Siemens production enterprises in Brno city (Czech Republic). Tatarstan delegation headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working trip in Czech Republic (April 14-16). On April 15 members of Tatarstan delegation met with leadership of Czech Republic and visited industrial enterprises in Southern part of Czech Republic.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev held All-Russia meeting concerning development of livestock sector in format of video conference. Chairman of Tatarstan Government Ildar Khalikov participated in the meeting.

The state information system “Public control” started functioning in Kazan in April 2012. The system enables citizens to interact with republican and municipal authorities in new format. 7,6 thousand requests have been received from Tatarstan citizens for this period of time.

At the opening of Tatarstan-Czech business forum (Prague) President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Czech Republic is one of leading partners of Tatarstan. He continued that trade turnover between Tatarstan and Czech Republic increased by 1,7 times in 2012 and made 223 mln US dollars.
