On February 20, during his working visit to Yelabuga municipal region, Acting Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the 19th meeting of the regional Council of the 3rd convocation on results of social and economic development of the region in 2016 and tasks for 2017.

On February 20, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Manama, the Kingdom of Bahrain, was met by Russian Ambassador to Bahrain Vagif Garaev and Sheik Hamad bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa at the Bahrain International Airport.

On February 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with the official Russian delegation led by Russia Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov took part in an opening ceremony of the International Defence Exhibition IDEX-2017, which is being held in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. 

On February 19, as a member of the official Russian delegation led by Russia Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, where he will take part in the International Defence Exhibition IDEX-2017 on February 19-20.

On February 18, more than 20,000 Kazan citizens took part in the Russian Ski Track 2017 National Race. On behalf of Tatarstan Government and President of the republic, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev welcomed participants of the event.

On February 18, speaking at a video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Government House of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that since the beginning of the year the State Construction Supervision and State Labour Inspectorate have conducted 185 inspections in the sphere of labour safety in construction industry. 

On February 18, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of the Minsk Tractor Works discussed issues of further interaction in the sphere of delivery of machinery as well as cooperation in terms of production of agricultural equipment, including various models of tractors. 

On February 18, at a coordinative meeting with heads of law enforcement agencies Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was reported on the progress of the investigation into the killing of the student of the Kazan Federal University from the Republic of Chad.
