On October 28, President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed an executive order awarding Deputy Prime Minster of the Republic of Tatarstan – Chief of Staff of the Cabinet of Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Gafarov the Order of Honour.

On October 17, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minster Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Middle Volga Territorial Administration Office of the Federal Agency for Fishery ((Rosrybolovstvo) Vadim Tkachev discussed issues of cooperation in the field of supervision and protection of aquatic biological resources, as well as the development of the fishing industry in the republic.
On October 15, speaking at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishman-Bekmambetova reported that the World Urban Park Congress, which will be held on October 18-20, 2019 at the Kazan Expo in Kazan, will bring together about 120 expert speakers and more than 1,000 guests from around the world.
