Republican commission on prevention and liquidation of emergency situations made the decision about planning of actions on returning evacuated people to their homes in Agryz. A unified conception of improving embankment of Kazanka River will be developed and approved in Kazan. Such assignment was given today by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the meeting on issue of reconstructing Kazanka embankment. Premier of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov visited Nizhnekamsk on June,1. Child Development Centre “Podsolnushek” opened on Children’s day in Nizhnekamsk. Opening of modern kindergarten aimed at intellectual development of children is an important event for the town. Today, on Children’s protection day President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited a large family in Kazan. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Irek Faizullin and other officials accompanied Rustam Minnikhanov.Eight children are now brought up in Vernikovsky family. Their mother, Raisa Vernikovskaya, is the teacher of mathematics and now is on child-care leave. Father, Leonid Vernikovsky is a trowel worker.

An integrated targeted policy in the sphere of support, protection and development of children is being realized in Tatarstan and almost all government bodies take up issues of childhood. Such suggestions were expressed today by Vice-premier of RT government Zilya Valeeva at a briefing in House of RT government on the eve of International Children’s Day.
