“Chemical and petrochemical sectors are growing points of Tatarstan economy”, - President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said at a festive event dedicated to the Chemist’s day. It is celebrated within the limits of renewed by UNO International chemist’s year. In Kazan celebrations took place at the site of “Tatneft-arena”. In the event took part heads of republican ministries and departments, heads of leading chemical and petrochemical enterprises, veterans of chemical industry, laureates of contests in chemistry and thousands of students from Kazan state technological university.
The existence of Tatarstan such financial institution as "Ak Bars" Bank of the Republic allows its management effectively to implement projects of social and economic development. This opinion was expressed by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, speaking at the annual general meeting of shareholders of OAO “Ak Bars” Bank.
Expenses for realization of program of additional measures aimed at decreasing tensity at labor market in Tatarstan have made more than 200 mln. roubles from the beginning of 2011. Such data were presented at a session of Republican interdepartmental commission on increasing living standards and legalization of incomings. The session was held in format of video conference by Acting Prime Minister of RT Ravil Muratov.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited special economic zone “Alabuga”. Together with Deputy Minister of economic development Oleg Saveliev Head of republic saw construction sites of two resident enterprises and held a meeting with suppliers of auto components.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with leadership of Remondis AG in House of RT government. Parties discussed possible realization of joint project on recycling and utilization of household wastes in Kazan.In the meeting took part Director-general of Remondis AG, member of the board Herbert Thule, Director of Remondis AG in Russia Mike Matthias, Head of Remondis AG projects in Russia Svetlana Bigesse and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

Issues of modernizing international airport “Kazan” and developing air carrier “Tatarstan” were discussed at a meeting with participation of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and CEO of holding “Himimport” Ivo Kamenev.
State financing in a market economy should decrease. Larger manufacturers and private businesses will increasingly often order scientific research. The Tatarstan Academy of Sciences should be proactive in developing such cooperation, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said while speaking at a general report and election meeting at the academy. Attendees were State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, First Deputy Prime Minister Ravil Muratov, deputy State Council chairman Alexander Gusev and many others.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Coca-Cola Company’s management in Russia. The meeting took place at the RT House of Government House on May 24. President of Russia, Ukraine & Belarus business unit Zoran Vucinic, Deputy General Manager of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games project at Coca-Cola Export Corporation Mickael Vinet represented the company.
A joint session of Council under RT President on counteracting corruption and maintaining law enforcement in RT took place in House of RT Government. The session in format of video conference was held by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. Opening the session head of republic stressed that though only two months had passed since the first session of Council much work was done for such a short period of time. Employees of state and municipal authorities reported before citizens on their incomings for 2010.
