Tatarstan is interested in cooperation with on the largest American producers of auto components - company «American Axle». February, 22. RT Prime Minister met with USA business delegation in House of RT Government. Director for developing business of company «American Axle» Steve Gregerson, President of «AZ Enterprise L.L.C.» (a consulting company for development of international business with emphasis on Russian and CIS markets) Alex Zaguskin took part in the meeting. «American Axle» company is a world leader in the design, engineering, testing, validation and manufacturing of driveline, drivetrain and chassis systems, related components, and metal formed products for passenger vehicles, light trucks and off-road automobiles.

President of Russia Dmitri Medvedev held meeting of All-Russia coordination meeting with heads of law enforcement bodies in Moscow. Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov attended the event. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in solemn event dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day. Head of Tatarstan Government congratulated veterans and military men on this holiday and handed a number of awards. The solemn ceremony was held in concert hall of cultural entertainment complex “Piramida”. Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov congratulated veterans and military men from the stage. Special words of gratitude were addressed to veterans of Great Patriotic War.

In 2010 volume of shipped goods, implemented works and services in Chistopol municipal region increased by 32 % and made 10,5 bln. roubles. Such data were cited by Head of Chistopol municipal region Ildus Akhmetzyanov at Board session of the region.RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the event. Such demand was announced today by First Vice-premier Ravil Muratov in the course of detour of transport objects in Kazan.First Vice-premier visited railway station of republican capital, underground station “Kremlevskaya”, Kazan bus station and Privolzhski market. Director General of MUP “Metroelectrotrans” Asfan Galyavov informed that design and estimate documents for set of measures aimed at increasing security of passengers had already been prepared. Financing of these measures should be provided by federal budget.

RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in teleconference on a topic of arranging forest protection in Russian Federation in 2011 and preparing executive agencies of RF subjects for fire hazardous season. The meeting was conducted by chief of Federal forestry agency V.N. Maslyakov.Opening the event, Viktor Maslyakov informed that one of the key tasks of the agency is execution of forestry legislation. He asked to pay more attention to keeping primary accounting of forestry. Viktor Maslyakov told as well about elaboration of special software by Federal forestry agency so that regions can implement primary accounting. He reminded that use of all subventions and subsidies, allocated to federal centres for realization of measures within the limits of state policy in relation to forestry will be thoroughly controlled.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited international airport “Kazan” and checked safety ensuring. He was accompanied by Head of Ministry of interiors on RT Asgat Safarov, RT Minister of transport and road construction Lenar Safin and Tatarstan Acting Transport Prosecutor Ruslan Tsechoev.Head of Republic visited arrival and departure halls of internal flights, customs control area of international departures sector. At the entrance to the airport Rustam Minnikhanov passed standard control procedure.

Agreement on cooperation in realizing measures under State program of agricultural development and regulation of markets of agricultural production, feed and foodstuff was signed by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of Dept. of JSC “Russian Agricultural Bank” Dmitri Patrushev. The document was signed in House of RT Government in the course of meeting between Rustam Minnikhanov and Dmitri Patrushev.The Agreement was concluded till December, 31, 2012.Realization of the agreement will favor expansion of credit resource availability, provision of stable development of rural areas, modernization of households, increase of employment and living standards of citizens.

February 16. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with Claude-Louis Gallien, the first Vice President of FISU (FISU), in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. Claude-Louis Gallien arrived in the capital of Tatarstan for a three-day working visit (16-18 February 2011) on behalf of George Killian, FISU President. During the meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov, there were conducted talks on preparation for the Summer Universiade - 2013 and the construction of sports infrastructure in Kazan. In addition, the participants of the meeting discussed the concept of creation the International Education Center FISU in Kazan on the basis of Volga Region Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism.
