New building of Federal treasury management in Tatarstan was opened in Kazan (Vishnevskogo, 31). Chairman of Russian Accounts chamber Sergey Stepashin, First Deputy Minister of finance of Russia Tatyana Nesterenko, Head of federal treasury Roman Artyukhin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov took part in solemn opening ceremony.

Head of Tatarstan government Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of JSC "IBM East Europe/Asia" Kirill Kornilev singed Protocol on intentions with regard to creation of the Development Center of IBM program decisions. Rustam Minnikhanov noted that republican government defined development of IT sector as the priority one. He considers that this sphere will be developing if provided with necessary infrastructure and staff.

A capital overhaul of multifamily houses in Tatarstan has started in 2255 houses. It makes 96 % of the whole program for the year 2009. Still, 89 houses have not been covered. This information was delivered by the RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Marat Khusnullin at a regular meeting on issues of federal law “About fund of assistance to housing and communal reform” implementation.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov said at a meeting with “Nizhnekamskneftehim” shareholders that JSC “Nizhnekamskneftehim” is one of the biggest enterprises in Russia, the so-called “leader” in petrochemical branch. In spite of difficulties connected with economic crisis the company keeps working and developing efficiently. He reminded likewise that 2008 was rather a successful year for many economic sectors but at the year-end a situation had changed completely. The Regions with export-oriented companies were aimed at the world markets. They suffered most of all, including the Republic of Tatarstan.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg to the Russian Federation Mr Gaston Stronk at the House of Tatarstan government. RT Prime Minister noted that the arrival of Mr Gaston Stronk may encourage further development of relations between Luxemburg and Tatarstan.

“Getting a state order for production of aircraft for the RF President Administration during such economically difficult time is a great work and trust rendered to the personnel of Gorbunov KAPO, - Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov said at a ceremony of transferring 2 planes TU-214 SR produced under state order from the RF President Administration.

For 1 January 2009 stockholder’s equity capital of “Ak Bars” bank has made 28, 241 bln. roubles. For past year the capital decreased by 248 mln. roubles. Annual meeting of JSC “Ak Bars” bank shareholders was held in Kazan chaired by Robert Musin. RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of RT National Bank Evgeny Bogachev and others took part in the meeting.

The awarding took place within the framework of the Day of Russian entrepreneur which is celebrated in the country the second year.
By the words of Chief of RT small and middle entrepreneurship committee Timur Shagivaleev a sum of each grant makes 1 million roubles.
