On September 18, speaking at a Russian State Council meeting in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Due to major projects being implemented in Tatarstan, the cluster industrial output will increase three times and total 2 trillion roubles by 2020. To attain this goal, state aid for rapid development of social, transport, energy and engineering infrastructures is required.”
On September 18, early resignation of Head of Naberezhnye Chelny Executive Committee Farkhad Latypov and Mayor of the town Vasil Shaikhraziev was discussed at a session of the town council.
On September 18, Almas Nazirov, the former head of Arsk municipal region (Tatarstan), has been appointed the new Minister of Forestry of the republic.
