Tatarstan’s State Counselor and Chairman of the Board of guardians of the Republican Foundation “Vozrozhdenie” (“Renaissance”) Mintimer Shaimiev, first Vice-governor of the Central Macedonia (Greece) Mr Kostas Karapanagiotidis, chief of the UNESCO Greece department for preservation of architectural monuments Mr Avraam Kassiteridis, Director-General of ICCROM Mr Stefano De Caro and special adviser of Director General of the United Nations Organisation on issues of education, science and culture Mr Munir Bushenaki have visited historical monuments of the island town of Sviyazhsk.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Arkady Dvorkovich has visited new seed producing plant in Novotroitskoe village of the Tukai municipal region (the Republic of Tatarstan).He was accompanied by the Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov, Deputy PM and Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov and Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Vasil Shaikhraziev.

Agreement on cooperation in foreign economic sphere has been signed between the Russian Ministry of economic development and the Tatarstan Government in Moscow.The document was signed by Chief of the Russian Ministry of economic development Andrei Belousov and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Tatarstan’s State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev presented the Book of benefactors and the letter of gratitude of the Republican Foundation for historical and cultural monuments revival to President of OAO LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov at a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of III contest of social and cultural projects of OAO Ritek and LUKOIL charity fund.

One of the largest Russian oil companies LUKOIL and Tatarstan are realising a number of joint projects and are willing to implement some projects in future in oil industry, social and cultural spheres. Such information was presented by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov after the meeting with President of OAO LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov in Kazan.
