“We hope the trip to Finland and participation in the 3rd EU-Russia Innovation Forum will enable our specialists getting acquainted with the country’s developments in the sphere of energy saving and opportunities of using energy-saving technologies,” the Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov said to journalists after a plenary session of the forum.
“We are interested in the EU experience in development of innovation infrastructure, adoption of innovations in production,” Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov stated at a plenary session of the 3rd EU-Russia Innovation Forum addressing participants of the event.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov is on a working trip in Finland to take part in the 3rd EU-Russia Innovation Forum and 21st EBN Annual Congress. The event is held in Lappeenranta on the basis of the Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT).
More than 3,5 thousand guests from the APEC countries visited Kazan within the framework of forum “Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation” in the Tatarstan capital on May 20 – June 5. By and large, 37 different sessions, seminars, meetings, sessions of working groups and committees were held in Kazan.

RT Premier Ildar Khalikov took part in Sabantui celebrations in Zelenodolsk today. Honorary guests of the holiday were also vice RF Minister of finance Aleksei Lavrov, deputy RT State Council Chairman Alexandr Gusev, head of Zelenodolsk region Sergei Batin and others.
Celebration of Sabantui has taken place in Tyulyachi. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the holiday. Honorary guests of the Sabantui in Tyulyachi were President of SKA hockey club Gennady Timchenko, member of Guardian council of the tennis Federation of Russia Andrei Bokarev, first Deputy Chairman of State Duma of the Astrakhan oblast Anver Almaev.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhnov has met with Abu Dabi Fund ‘s Director general Mohammed Saif Al Suvaidi today.

A plenary session of “Tatarstan” media club, set up at Plenipotentiary representation of RT in Moscow, was held in Kazan (Safar hotel) today. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the session.
Complex of White Mosque was opened in Bolgar within the framework of anniversary of official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria today. The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, RT State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu and leaders of the Islamic clergy took part in the solemn ceremony.
