“The Republic of Tatarstan is obliged to oil sector for all achievements in social and economic development”, - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said at a festive event dedicated to Day of oil and gas industry workers in Almetievsk.

Preparation for summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan was the main topic of interview of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov to editor-in-chief of “Rossiyaskaya Gazeta” Vladislav Fronin. The interview was held in format of business lunch in House of RT Government.

“This year Tatarstan Republic will have enough potatoes”, - Deputy Premier – Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov informed at a republican meeting. The meeting was held in House of RT Government in format of video conference by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.

By 2016 volume of industrial products can make 2 bln. roubles in Tatarstan Republic. Such information was given by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to the reporter of TV channel “Russia” Irina Rossius in the interview. In particular, he reminded that by results of 2010 volume of industrial production in republic exceeded 1 bln. roubles.

Championship of Russia on judo has started in Kazan. RT Premier Ildar Khalikov took part in a festive ceremony that took place in Palace of single combats “Ak Bars”. Championship of Russia on judo is a qualifying competition to form a membership of national team for European and World championships. 545 sportsmen from 60 Russian regions are taking part in current competitions. 23 wrestlers represent Tatarstan Republic. The championship will last from August, 31 to September, 4.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with delegation of New York state (USA) in House of RT Government. RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin, rector of Kazan federal university Ilshat Gafurov, Deputy chairman of RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova attended the meeting.

Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov met with Plenipotentiary minister of Israel embassy in Russia Mr Roy Rosenblit. The meeting was held in House of RT Government with participation of RT First deputy minister of industry and trade Igor Nosov and Chairman of Jewish community of Tatarstan – President of Federal Jewish national and cultural autonomy Mikhail Skoblionok.
