President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with leader of Kazan eparchy of Russian Orthodox Church Archbishop of Kazan and Tatarstan Anastasy. Head of republic came to eparchial directorate (Kazan, crossing of K.Marx and Mislavsky streets, 9/15) and got acquainted with course of repair-restoration works of group of buildings of former religious school.

Equestrian sport competitions dedicated to Day of City and Day of Republic took place at Kazan race track on August, 30. The main event was a horse race for RT President prize with prize fund of 3 mln. roubles. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the equestrian sport holiday.
A festive ceremony of handing state awards named after G.Tukai - 2011 has taken place in Kazan city. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed out the highest awards of Tatarstan Republic for achievements in the sphere of culture and art.

Session of Anti-corruption Council at RT President chaired by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov has been held in House of RT Government. State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov attended the session. Heads of municipalities, territorial departments of federal tax service, law enforcement bodies, representatives of self-regulated organizations, arbitrary executives and others took part in the session in format of video conference.
Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov presented a new chief to the staff of RT State Construction Inspectorate – Vasily Kudryashov, former director-general of JSC “SEZ PPT “Alabuga”. By words of Ildar Khalikov former Head of Inspectorate Rais Mubarakshin who had managed company since 2001 was dismissed on the basis of letter of resignation on his own will.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has inspected historical buildings of Kazan during a walking tour around the city centre. The excursion for RT President was held by a Kazan guide, member of board of Tatarstan branch of All-Russia association for protection of historical and cultural monuments Olesya Baltusova.The activist of movement on maintenance of Kazan historical image O. Baltusova wrote a letter addressed to President of Tatarstan in her blog inviting him to see historical buildings which may perish soon in the city center. Rustam Minnikhanov accepted the invitation and on August 28 personally looked over the old buildings during a walking tour.

Regular session of Directors board of JSC “Tatneft” chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has been held in House of RT Government. Results of budget execution by JSC “Tatneft” for 7 months of 2011 have been considered the budget for September has been approved and results of financial-economic activity for the first half-year have been discussed.
Issues of cooperation of Tatarstan with one of the leading global companies in the sphere of sale and marketing of commercial assets of stadiums – “IMG sport, entertainment, media” have been discussed today at a meeting of the company’s delegation with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

August, 25. An official opening of Days of Moscow in Tatarstan Republic took place in Kazan. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Deputy Mayor of Moscow Aleksandr Gorbenko welcomed guests in Tatar state opera and ballet theatre named after M.Jalil. Head of Tatarstan Government Ildar Khalikov greeted Moscow guests on behalf of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. He noted that besides official delegation of Moscow Government numerous Tatar compatriots - representatives of scientific, creative, sport and business spheres arrived in Tatarstan.
On August,25 President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with representatives of Tatar national – cultural autonomy of Moscow and natives of Tatarstan Republic. The meeting took place in Kazan Kremlin with participation of Deputy Premier Zilya Valeeva, Chairman of Russia Mufti Board Ravil Gainutdin, Chairman of Executive committee of World congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov, Chairman of regional Tatar national – cultural autonomy of Moscow Rasim Akchurin.
