On February 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Gorky Automobile Plant in Nizhny Novgorod, where he saw the production of GAZel and Sobol cars and found out about new solutions in the sphere of light commercial vehicles, medium duty trucks and buses.

The traditional mass ski race Lyzhnya Rossii 2016 (Ski Track of Russia 2016) was held in 72 big Russian cities on February 14. In Kazan, the race started on three sites, but the main ones were the Solnechny camp and Zalesny township.
