On April 15, at his meeting with Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iranian Parliament Aladdin Borijerdi, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic is interested in fruitful cooperation with Iran in cultural and socio-economic spheres. He also told about his visit to Iran in March this year, when a number of productive meetings were held with Iranian authorities.

On April 15, at his meeting with Moroccan Minister of foreign trade Mohamed Abbou, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov told about development of foreign trade relations of the republic with Arabic countries.

The officials of the republic visited Burevestnik swimming-pool that will be used for training, Universiade Village where sportsmen will be accommodated, and the International information center near Universiade Village, where catering services will be provided for sportsmen.

On April 14, during the working visit of Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to Baku (April 13-14), arrangements about the visit of Azerbaijan business delegation to Tatarstan in September 2015 were reached.

On April 14, at his meeting with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that he always sees something new and positive when he arrives in Baku. Ilham Aliyev welcomed the guests and said that it is important to intensify efforts for closer cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan. He reminded that the assembly production of KAMAZ trucks will open at Ganja Auto Plant.

On April 14, during his working visit to Baku, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasi-Zade to discuss issues of mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of Azerbaijan-Russia relations.

On April 14, during his visit to Azerbaijan, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Alley of Honor in Baku and laid flowers to the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
