On March 25, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, President of WorldSkills International Simon Bartley (Great Britain), Stefan Praschl (Austria) - Vice President on Technical Affairs, Russian Deputy Minister of Education and Science Alexander Klimov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, and Technical Delegate from Russia in WorldSkills International Pavel Chernykh, Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, and Director General of OAO “Svyazinvestneftekhim” Valery Sorokin took part in Foundation stone laying ceremony of WorldSkills Arena exhibition centre near Kazan international airport.
On March 25, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated a 87-year-old veteran of WWII Nazip Galimardanov on his 70th anniversary and handed over the medal “70th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War of 1941—1945”.

On March 24, Members of the commission WorldSkills International (WSI) led by President of WorldSkills International Simon Bartley , who arrived with an inspection visit in Kazan, were met by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Director General of ANO “Executive directorate of sports projects” Azat Kadyrov at Kazan international airport.
Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in meeting with representatives of WorldSkills International in Moscow
On March 24, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting with representatives of WorldSkills International (WSI) held by Russian President Vladimir Putin. President of the WSI Simon Bartley, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Olga Golodets and other officials took part in the event.
On March 24, during his working trip to Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a meeting on support of labour market in the republic. Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Elmira Zaripova, representatives of administration of Naberezhnye Chelny and heads of local enterprises took part in the meeting.
