On December 29, in his telegram addressed to President of RT Volleyball Federation Farid Mukhametshin, President of the volleyball club "Zenit-Kazan" Rafkat Kantukov, Head coach of Zenit-Kazan Vladimir Alekno and sportsmen of volleyball club “Zenit-Kazan”, on behalf of all volleyball fans and personally, Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated them on victory in Russia Cup 2014. Having emphasized that Zenit-Kazan ended 15th anniversary season with triumph, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked them for their victory, strengthening authority of Russian volleyball school, and contribution to sports glory of Tatarstan and wished them strong health, inexhaustible energy, good luck, and new greater achievements. 

On December 29, within the framework of his working visit to Kazkhstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mikhail Bocharnikov and Tatarstan delegates take part. 

On December 29, at the meeting  with  Kazakhstan Minister of Defence Imangali Tasmagambetov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov discussed the issues related to further expanding military-technical cooperation between Tatarstan and Kazakhstan

On December 28, upon his arrival to Kazakhstan Republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was met by Kazakhstan Minister of Defence Imangali Tasmagambetov at the Astana International Airport.

On December 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation  Alexander Novak, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, The Mayor of Kazan  Ilsur Metshin and others visited the  New Year fair opened  in  Staro-Tatarskaya sloboda. 

On December 27, at the end of ceremony dedicated to the launching a new electrical power unit, a combined cycle plant with a capacity of 220 MW named after V.K.Shibanov at Kazan CHPP-2, Minnikhanov said, “It is the most up-to-date power unit. The electricity market is very competitive, and we need to meet the modern requirements”. “We have fallen in the field of updating the power engineering facilities and we have to work hard. We have projects for the further development, electrical power units in Nizhnekamsk, Zainsk and Elabuga are among them. 

On December 27, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation  Alexander Novak, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Energy Ivan Grachev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development and Construction Marat Khusnullin participated in the ceremony of launching a new electrical power unit, a combined cycle plant with a capacity of 220 MW named after V.K.Shibanov at Kazan CHPP-2. 
On December 27, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation  Alexander Novak arrived on an official visit to Kazan. 
On December 27, at a board meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that since the implementation of the programme of capital repair of multi-apartment houses in Tatarstan 11852 houses have been renovated with the amount of funds totaling to more than 39 billion roubles and 2.6 million citizens living there.

On December 27, general director of the Fund for utilities reforms promotion Konstantin Tzitzin, Chairman of the supervisory council of the Fund for utilities reforms promotion Sergey Stepashin, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, Head of the Laishevo Municipal District Mikhail Afanasiev, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, Executive Director of the Tatarstan State Housing Fund under the Tatarstan President Talgat Abdullin took part in the solemn ceremony dedicated to handing the  keys to new flats to the hazardous dwelling resettlement programme participants.
