On October 29, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of Supervisory Council of Knorr-Bremse AG Mr Heinz Hermann Thiele discussed current issues related to the activity of the Knorr-Bremse KAMA Joint Venture and prospects for further development of the company in Tatarstan.

On October 29, during his visit to Kazan Vice-President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sorena Sattari accompanied by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov visited the KAI-Laser Engineering Center.

On October 28, at a roundtable “Priorities of Tatarstan development strategy” within the framework of XIII All-Russian Forum «Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia» Director of the Resource Centre for Strategic Planning at Leontief centre and research manager of the project “Tatarstan-2030” Boris Zhikharevich said that the first edition of the project “The strategy of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan till 2030” will be presented this year in the middle of December.

On October 28, at a plenary session “Plans and reality: opportunities and restrictions of the new system of strategic planning in conditions of developing political and economic situation” within the framework of XIII All-Russian forum “Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia” in St. Petersburg, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that strategic planning is important today.

On October 28, at their meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, executives of the Poly Technology (China) said that they looked forward to developing cooperation with Tatarstan in a number of areas.

On October 28, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov is on a working visit to Saint Petersburg, where he is taking part in XII All-Russia forum "Strategic planning in Russian regions and cities".
