On July 19, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of Revival Foundation Trustees Board Mintimer Shaimiev, and President of International Fencing Federation, a famous Russian businessman Alisher Usmanov visited Bolgar historical and archeological complex, UNESCO World Heritage site.
On July 19, at the Kazan Kremlin, before gala Fair Play event, President of International Fair Play Committee Jenő Kamuti granted the medal of the Committee toTatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
On July 19, at their meeting at the Kazan Kremlin, President of the international federation of sport television and of the images on the screen (FICTS) Franco Ascani addressed Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with proposal to hold the international sports film festival in Kazan in 2015. Best feature and documentary films about sport will be shown during the event.
On July 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated players of “Dinamo-Kazan” team on the 11th victory in Russian Field Hockey Championship.

On July 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, accompanied by Tatarstan Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, Member of Tatarstan State Council Razil Valeev and other officials, visited III International youth educational forum "Selet”, being held at the Bilyar Historical and Archaeological Reserve Museum on July 15-20.
On July 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko, and President of International Fencing Federation Alisher Usmanov took part in opening ceremony of World Fencing Championship at Kazan Tennis Academy.
On July 18, at a press conference dedicated to World Fencing Championship that opened in Kazan, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev said that holding of this event in Kazan would favour development of fencing sport in Tatarstan.President of International Fencing Federation Alisher Usmanov, and Head of Russian Olympic Committee Aleksandr Zhukov took part in the conference.
On July 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov sent greetings telegram to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill on the occasion of 700th anniversary of Blessed Sergius of Radonezh.
On July 18, speaking at a plenary session of Fair Play Congress: Nobility and Achievements in Sports, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that promoting physical culture and sports are priorities of the social policy of the Russian Federation and Tatarstan.
