On May 21 at a meeting with Finland delegation led by Director General of Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Juha Ojala Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that Finland experience is interesting for Tatarstan.

On May 20 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with President of Russian Track and Field Athletics Federation Valentin Balakhnichev. Minister of Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism Rafis Burganov, Head of Universiade Directorate Vladimir Leonov, President of Tatarstan Track and Field Athletics Federation Khafiz Salikhov took part in the meeting.

On May 20 at his meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov Governor of Leningrad region Aleksandr Drozdenko said that the visit of the delegation to Tatarstan is of practical kind and is aimed at getting familiar with Tatarstan experience in different spheres.

On May 18 at a meeting with participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov Minister of Ecology and Nature Resources Artem Sidorov told about work carried out in the republic within the framework of sanitary and ecological two-month campaign.

On May 17 at a meeting with deputies of Russian State Duma and members of the Federation Council Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan participation in federal programmes to a large extent depends on efficient work of deputies of Russian State Duma representing Tatarstan.

On May 16 during the visit of Kazakhstan delegation led by the Mayor Akhmetzhan Esimov and Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia to Tatarstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Akhmetzhan Esimov went to the Kazan Kremlin to see historical monuments and Kul Sharif Mosque and Annunciation Cathedral.

On May 16 during his trip to Tatarstan Mayor of Almaty Akhmetzhan Esimov accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Universiade Village and Tennis Academy.
