Edward Abdullazyanov was assigned to the post of acting rector of Kazan power engineering university. Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov introduced new Head to the staff on December 8. Speaking to the staff of Kazan power engineering university Ildar Khalikov firstly expressed condolences to relatives of the former rector Yury Petrushenko who passed away on November 20.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has visited Gdansk Science&Technology Park in the context of his working visit to Poland. Director of Department for external relations- Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov, Chief of RT investment development agency Linar Yakupov, Director-general of ZAO “Innovative production technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko are on Tatarstan delegation.

Increase of energy efficiency of production is the guarantee of competitiveness of Tatarstan enterprises in the context of forthcoming entry of Russia in World trade organization. Such statement was made by Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov at an extended session of RT Cabinet "On course of implementing long-term target program "Energy saving and raising energy efficiency in RT for 2010-2015 years and perspective until year 2020".

On December 7 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with President of Austria Heinz Fisher within the framework of working visit to Austrian Republic.The meeting with Heinz Fisher was held in official residence of the Austrian President – Hofburg. The parties agreed on visit of official delegation of Tyrol state to Tatarstan Republic in June 2012.
