State financing in a market economy should decrease. Larger manufacturers and private businesses will increasingly often order scientific research. The Tatarstan Academy of Sciences should be proactive in developing such cooperation, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said while speaking at a general report and election meeting at the academy. Attendees were State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, First Deputy Prime Minister Ravil Muratov, deputy State Council chairman Alexander Gusev and many others.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Coca-Cola Company’s management in Russia. The meeting took place at the RT House of Government House on May 24. A joint session of Council under RT President on counteracting corruption and maintaining law enforcement in RT took place in House of RT Government. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held first session of Supervision council on developing innovative activity and venture industry in RT. The session was held at Kazan federal university with participation of heads of world leading companies engaged in venture investments. The objectives of Supervision council on developing innovative activity and venture industry in RT are working out and expert assessment of measures needed for development of venture business and innovative entrepreneurship in RT, consulting of republican departments about actions needed for developing innovative sector and expertise of venture projects.

World summer student games will be held in Kazan on July, 6-17 in 2013. Such decision was made at a session of organizing committee of Universiade 2013 held by First Vice-premier of Russian government Igor Shuvalov. The session took place in IT-park with participation of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.

A regular session of JSC Tatneft Board of directors was held by President of Tatarstan - Chairman of the board Rustam Minnikhanov. The session took place in House of RT Government.
Results of budget execution by JSC Tatneft for four months 2011 were summarized, the budget for June was approved, and results of financial-economic activity of the company for the first quarter were discussed at the session.

President of Austrian Republic Heinz Fischer highly appreciated organization level of a visit by Austrian delegation to Kazan. This was stated today by head of Austria in the Kazan Kremlin after meeting with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who summed up the visit.
