On December 15, at a joint session of the Presidential Council on inter-ethnic and inter-confessional relations and Coordination meeting on ensuring law and order in the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that a positive character of inter-confessional relations is a competitive advantage of the republic and its maintenance is a priority of regional leadership.
On December 15 at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met French delegation led by French Ambassador to Russia Jean-Maurice Ripert.

On December 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Vladimir Leonov, and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in signing of six agreements of intent with national partners of 16th FINA Aquatics Championship 2015, - OAO “AVTOVAZ”, “Ak Bars” Bank, ZAO “Schenker”, ZAO “Kaspersky laboratory”, and OOO “Systema.IT”.
