On 18 November Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov and the Vice-rector of Innopolis University Iskander Bariyev took part in a meeting of the Expert Council of the Advanced Engineering School by the Innopolis University held by Russian Deputy Minister of Digitalization Maksim Parshin in Moscow. The project is being implemented with the support from the Russian Ministry together with such industrial partners as the Gazprom, Gazprom Neft (oil), VK, Rostelecom Communication Company and MTS.

Season: Artificial Intelligence”, one of the projects of the Presidential Platform “Russia is a Land of Opportunities”, where during a month of online training the strongest programmers will create working solutions for Innopolis University, Sheremetyevo International Airport, the Russian Post and compete for the prize fund of 3 million roubles.

Following a meeting of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Supervisory Board held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in the regional Cabinet of Ministers on 17 October, Transnational Power Company Gazprom VNIIGAS has become a partner of the SEZ and is planning to establish a center of competences for interaction with scientific organizations and IT companies of Tatarstan.

On October 3, at their meeting in the city of Tolyatti of the Samara region, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov and First Executive Vice President for Strategy and Technical Development of AvtoVAZ machine-building plant Yevgeny Shmelyov discussed the possible development of cooperation between the automotive company and the University of Innopolis in personnel training, as well as the implementation of joint projects in robotics.
