President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited subsidiary office of JSC Sberbank in Kazan. Head of republic was accompanied by Vice-premier of RT government - Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov, Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Director-general of JSC “SEZ “Alabuga” Vasili Kudryashov.

German company Wermuth Asset Management intends to attract investments in Tatarstan for development of technologies in the sphere of energy-resource saving and environmental protection. Prospects of creating special investment fund were discussed at a meeting between company’s leadership and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting took place in House of RT government with participation of Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, RT Minister of finances Radik Gaizatullin, Chairman of JSC “Ak Bars” Directors board Robert Musin, Director-general of “Svyazinvestneftehim” Valeri Sorokin.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of economic development of Azerbaijan Shakhin Abdulla ogly Mustafiev discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation. The meeting was held in residence of RT President at Kazan Kremlin. Tatarstan was presented by Director of Department for external relations under RT President Staff – Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, First deputy minister of industry and trade Igor Nosov, Deputy head of RT Cabinet Staff Airat Khairullin and others.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with special adviser of UNO Secretary General on sport for the good of development and peace Vilfrid Lemke. The meeting was held in residence of RT President at Kazan Kremlin. Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Mr Lemke for visit to the capital of Tatarstan. The parties discussed issues of preparation for World summer universiade 2013 in Kazan and other international events.

“Visit of representative delegation from Saudi Arabia will give new impetus to development and consolidation of relations between Tatarstan and Islamic world”, - President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said at a meeting with Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Salekh Abdalla Kamel.

“Chemical and petrochemical sectors are growing points of Tatarstan economy”, - President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said at a festive event dedicated to the Chemist’s day. It is celebrated within the limits of renewed by UNO International chemist’s year. In Kazan celebrations took place at the site of “Tatneft-arena”. In the event took part heads of republican ministries and departments, heads of leading chemical and petrochemical enterprises, veterans of chemical industry, laureates of contests in chemistry and thousands of students from Kazan state technological university.

The existence of Tatarstan such financial institution as "Ak Bars" Bank of the Republic allows its management effectively to implement projects of social and economic development. This opinion was expressed by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, speaking at the annual general meeting of shareholders of OAO “Ak Bars” Bank.

Expenses for realization of program of additional measures aimed at decreasing tensity at labor market in Tatarstan have made more than 200 mln. roubles from the beginning of 2011. Such data were presented at a session of Republican interdepartmental commission on increasing living standards and legalization of incomings. The session was held in format of video conference by Acting Prime Minister of RT Ravil Muratov.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited special economic zone “Alabuga”. Together with Deputy Minister of economic development Oleg Saveliev Head of republic saw construction sites of two resident enterprises and held a meeting with suppliers of auto components.
