President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov called for the most effective use of natural materials for the road construction in Tatarstan. This was said on January 19 during the visit to the Kazan State Architectural-Construction University (KGASU).During the inspection of the sports complex, hostels and housing of KGASU Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, Minister of Transport and Roads of Tatarstan Lenar Safin, RT Minister of Education and Science Albert Gilmutdinov and other officials. The tour was conducted by rector of KGASU Rashid Nizamov.

The Republic of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with representatives of Nike Russia on Wednesday. Potential cooperation in promoting sports and encouraging grassroots sports was discussed at the meeting.According to Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan capital – Kazan is by right considered to be Russia’s sports capital. Sports teams from Tatarstan are well-known in Russia and beyond its borders in such sports as ice hockey, football, volleyball, etc. Kamaz-Master team again became the winner of the Dakar rally recently.Kazan will host participants and guests of the World Summer Sports Student Games (the Universiade) in 2013, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded. Moreover, in 2018 the football world championship matches will take place in Tatarstan capital. Tatarstan President offered Nike to establish long-term mutually beneficial cooperation.

First session this year of Republican interdepartmental commission of raising life standards and income legalization has been held at a House of Tatarstan Government chaired by RT first Deputy Prime Minister R.F. Muratov. The first question dealing with the results of implementing regional program of extra measures aimed at lowering tension in labor market was accounted by RT Deputy Minister of labor, employment and social protection Klara Tazetdinova.

Growth of tariffs for communal services in Tatarstan has not exceeded 15 % in 2011. This has been announced today at briefing in RT Cabinet by chairman of RT State Committee on tariffs Marina Fairushina.Head of State committee noted that since adoption of amendments in RF Housing Code in August 2010 municipal formations lost their authorities for fixing tariffs, they were delegated to regional level. Marina Fairushina stressed that it was connected with inspections held last year during which many abuses in fixing tariffs were found.

First ceremony of awarding RF and RT State awards was held in Kazan Kremlin on January,17. Tatarstan, the Tver and Samara regions will in 2011 participate in the pilot project called Accessible Environment, the department of invalids at the Russian Health Ministry Grigory Lekarev has today told a Tatarstan Labour, Employment and Social Security Ministry staff meeting, attended by Tatarstan President R. Minnikhanov.According to the department’s director, an integrated approach will be used in implementing the programme, measures will be taken in the social security, healthcare, culture, education, transport and other spheres. Organisations of invalids will be asked to consult, to provide feedback.

Session of Commission on prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and providing fire safety was held by RT Acting Prime Minister Ravil Muratov. The session was held in House of RT Government in format of video conference with participation of municipal regions of republic. Members of commission discussed the problem of clearing multi-apartment houses, objects of social-cultural sphere, sport infrastructure and neighboring territories from snow and ice. First deputy minister of construction, architecture and housing Rauzil Khaziev reported on current situation. He said that today this problem is very urgent for many Russian regions.

The Republic of Tatarstan is the only region in Russia that dynamically and sequentially realizes intelligent policy in the sphere of construction and reformation of housing and communal services. This has been announced today by Director of department for regulation of town planning activity of RF Ministry of regional development Ilya Ponomarev at final session of RT Ministry of construction, architecture and housing. The session was held in House of RT Government in format of video conference with participation of municipal regions of republic.

Agreement on cooperation between RF Accounts chamber and RT Government has been signed in House of RT Government.The document was signed at the meeting between RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Auditor of RF Accounts Chamber Aleksandr Piskunov.It is meant that parties will cooperate on issues of mutual interest including strategic planning and control for social-economic development of Tatarstan Republic.

We have to take seriously ecological situation and nature conservation actions in RT. This was announced today by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at final session of RT Ministry of ecology and natural resources dedicated to activity of the ministry in 2010 and tasks for 2011.By results of 2010 the volume of industrial production in RT has made 1 trillion roubles. It is the results of activity of large industrial enterprises of republic, especially petrochemical complex. “It is very difficult to achieve such serious volumes of industrial production. This surely increases anthropogenic impact on the environment, - Tatarstan President said. That is why our attitude towards ecological situation should be very serious as well”.
