Observance of balance of interests in various economic, political and social sectors is one of key objectives in activity of heads of RF subjects. Such opinion was expressed by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at the meeting with heads of republican mass media and representatives of correspondence offices of federal publications. The event dedicated to anniversary of continuance of R.Minnikhanmov in office of RT President was held in House of republican government. Opening the meeting, R.Minnikhanmov said that he often learns about life in republic from the press.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with Director General of Federal state unitary enterprise “All-Russia scientific research geological oil institute” Aleksei Varlamov. The meeting was held in House of RT Government with participation of Aide to RT President Rinat Sabirov, President of Academy of sciences Akhmet Mazgarov, Counsellor of RT President on issues of developing oil and oil-gas fields Renat Muslimov.

An official meeting, to mark the Tatarstan farming movement’s 20th anniversary, has today been held at the Korston business centre. An attendee was President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.The Association of Farmers and Peasant Farmsteads chief Kamiyar Baitemirov summed up the work and set tasks for the future. He said the farming movement in Tatarstan had rapidly progressed since 1990. The association was established in 1991. “In the 20 years of making and developing, the farming entities have had a market relations schooling. The agro-industrial branch is hard to imagine without farmers, farmsteads and agricultural consumer cooperatives,” K. Baitemirov noted.

Preparation for opening World summer Universiade-2013 will be monthly discussed at session of special staff under chairmanship of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. Such decision was made at the meeting of Head of republic with Head of production company “ARS” Igor Krutoi and artist, scene-designer and producer Boris Krasnov. Issues of preparing ceremonies of opening and closing student Games 2013 were discussed at meeting that took place in Moscow. Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov took part in the event.

“Citizens should have possibility of free fishing at basins and prosecution bodies will strive for it”, - Head of department on supervision for observance of legislation in the sphere of economy and subsoil usage under RT Prosecutor's office Sergei Egorov said at briefing in RT Cabinet. The briefing was dedicated to current situation that emerged because of imposition of paid restrictions for amateur and sports fishing (Federal law about amendments in Federal law “On fishery and conservation of water biological resources”).

Geological information is the basis for development of such sectors as oil-producing industry, production of construction materials in Tatarstan. Currently use of existing geological data makes difficulties due to their inconsistency. This was announced by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at the opening of district seminar “Issues of functioning of unified system of federal and territorial funds of geological information on Volga federal district”. By words of Director of Federal State Institution “Territorial fund of geological information on Volga federal district” Tatiana Kosarikova, the seminar was held in accordance with Edict of Federal agency for subsoil usage.

“Traffic restrictions for cargo transport will be imposed in Tatarstan from April, 15”, - RT Minister of transport and road construction Lenar Safin informed at briefing in RT Cabinet. Briefing was dedicated to issues of preparation of all responsible ministries and institutions of republic for flood-dangerous period.

Sodexo, one of Europe’s largest companies providing corporate foodservices, might provide foodservices to students and athletes residing at the Universiade Village in Kazan. The company, also involved in providing foodservices to Dakar Rally Raid participants, presented its opportunities to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on March 21. The presentation was held at one of the buildings of the student campus in Kazan where the guests could also taste the meals the company offers.

March, 21. RT President is in St. Petersburg to take part in All-Russia meeting on implementing authorities in sphere of forest relations by the regions. The meeting was held by First deputy chairman of RF government Viktor Zubkov. According to Viktor Zubkov, about 4 bln. roubles were not received from forest tenants in 2010. Volume if illegal lumbering is still an urgent problem in forestry. Viktor Zubkov informed that a working group for solving this problem was created in RF Government.

“Tatarstan authorities are thankful to Federal state statistics service for supporting our initiatives in the sphere of improving procedures of collection and information processing”, - RT PM Ildar Khalikov said at the meeting with deputy head of Federal state statistics service Maksim Dianov. The meeting took place in House of RT Government. Head of Tatarstan state statistics service Valeri Kandilov took part in the event.
