“Tatarstan government will be searching for the ways to abolish charged fishing at republican basins”, - RT first Vice-premier Ravil Muratov said to participants of meeting against charged fishing.The meeting was held at Freedom Square in Kazan and was organized by initiative group of citizens. Activists from organizations of war veterans, Chernobyl veterans, Regional public organization “Tatarstan fishery club”, Tatarstan Federation of fishing sport, Society of hunters and fishers also jointed the initiative group.
Session of “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Directors board was held in RT Cabinet under chairmanship of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. A range of issues important for development of RT oil-gas-chemical complex was discussed at the meeting. Manager for business development in CIS countries Peter Medler told members of Directors board about offers of «Linde» company (Germany) connected with design and construction of large ethylene installations.Director-general of “Nizhnekamskneftehim” Vladimir Busygin informed that after considering offers of other companies, projects of «Linde» company and ABB “Lummus Global” were selected. Final results will be announced in April.
Issues of developing JSC “Kazan helicopters plant” were discussed at the meeting between President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov and Director-general of United Industrial Corporation “Oboronprom” Andrei Reus. The meeting took place in House of RT Government with participation of RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Director-general of JSC KMPO (Kazan motor production association) Damir Karimullin, Director-general of JSC “Kazan helicopters plant” Vadim Ligai and advisor to RT Prime Minister Nazir Kireev.

A number of agreements on realization of joint projects by enterprises of Tatarstan and Finland were signed on March, 25 in Lahti city (Finland). RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and members of RT delegation who are on working visit in Finland on March 24-25 took part in the event. The first Agreement was signed by OOO “Innovative-production technopark Idea Southeast” (Tatarstan Republic), innovative-technological centre of Lahti city (Finland) and Pajakulma Oy company by the project of producing rigging for “KAMAZ” trucks and training Tatarstan specialists.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Research centre of renewable energy “Energon” (Finland). We remind that Head of Tatarstan Republic is on two-day working visit in Republic of Finland (March,24-25). Research centre of renewable energy “Energon” belongs to Innovative-technological centre of Lahti city and is engaged into research activity in the sphere of energy efficiency and renewable energy. “Energon” was opened in 2010 for promoting, implementation and usage of renewable kinds of energy (within the frameworks of EU requirements and Finland).

On March, 24 President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with heads of Finnish companies and organizations at Union of technological industry of Finland. Director General of Central union of business life of Finland Mikko Pulkkinen addressed participants of the event with welcoming speech. Particularly, he congratulated Tatarstan authorities on fact that the region took the first place in Russia by investment potential (according to survey conducted by Russian economic school and company «Ernst & Young» - “Measurement of conditions for business conduction in Russian regions).
Issues of further development of the relationship between the Republic of Finland and the Republic of Tatarstan as one of Russia’s most dynamically developing regions were discussed at the meeting of Finnish President Tarja Hallonen and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.The Tatarstan delegation led by its President Rustam Minnikhanov is in the Finnish capital Helsinki on a two-day working visit. The main aim of the visit is to encourage trade and economic cooperation between Finland and Tatarstan.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in the Finnish capital Helsinki for a two-day working visit on March 24. At Helsinki’s international airport Vantaa the head of Tatarstan was met by Political Under-Secretary of State of the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs Jaakko Laajava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russian to Finland Aleksander Rumyantsev and others.
“Tatarstan leadership hopes for attracting investments into republic with the help of Islamic financial tools such as obligations “sukuk”, - RT Prime Minister said at opening of international conference “Sukuk – new tool of developing regional infrastructure”. «Kazan sukuk conference» is being held within the limits of the first issue of Islamic obligations sukuk. Special feature of these securities is that terms of their circulation meet requirements of the Sheriat. Protocol of intentions on issue of independent obligations “sukuk” for Tatarstan Republic was signed within the limits of working visit of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov to Malaysia on December, 14, 2010.
March, 24 is the first day of official visit of Tatarstan delegation headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov to Finland. The program of two-day staying in Finnish capital Helsinki includes meeting with the President of Finnish Republic Tarja Halonen, Minister of economic development of Finland, Minister of foreign trade of Finland, participation of Tatarstan delegation in seminar “Expomet” and session of joint working group of Tatarstan and Finland.
