Major changes will happen in Tatarstan archive-keeping in 2011. This was announced by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at board session of Chief archival dept. under RT Cabinet.Head of Chief archival dept. under RT Cabinet Danil Ibragimov reported on results of work of Tatarstan archival institutions in 2010 and key tasks for 2011. Head of Department defined main problems in activity of archival institutions. By his words, the most urgent are consolidation of material and technical resources and ensuring safety of the documents. Workload of storages of RT National archive makes more than 100 %. Central state archive of audio-visual documents of Republic and State press archive do not have separate buildings. There is a high percentage of out-of-date computer equipment in municipal archives. State and municipal archives are in need of additional personnel in connection with continuous liquidation of organizations and increase of citizens’ addresses.

Five criminal cases were opened upon facts of negligent attitude of Managing companies and Homeowners Associations towards cleaning roofs from snow that resulted in falls of roofs. Such information has been given by RT Prosecutor Kafil Amirov at session of Commission for prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and fire safety in RT.The event was held in Kazan under chairmanship of First Vice-premier Ravil Muratov. Kafil Amirov criticized the attitude of managing companies towards major repairs of houses and cleaning roofs from snow.

February,8. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in work of final board session of Russian Federal consumer rights protection and human health control service. The event was held in National cultural centre “Kazan”. Head of RT government put much emphasis on children and their safeguarding while staying in educational institutions. In his opinion, this issue should become more urgent this year.
“We have positive experience in organizing nutrition for children at schools and kindergartens. Kazan has well recommended itself in realization of project on organization of school students’ nutrition and we have to take it as a basis”, - Ildar Khalikov said.

Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan and board members of the RT Public Chamber discussed at the meeting on February 8, a wide range of socially important issues - perspectives of entrepreneurship development and support of nonprofit organizations, the growth rates of housing and public utility services, as well as the work of schools, kindergartens and dairy kitchens in Tatarstan.The meeting was held in the RT Cabinet of Ministers.Due to Ilgiz Khairullin, the Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan, the conversation was very useful and constructive. All the issues raised at today's meeting are very important. "The issue of supporting nonprofit organizations in the new tax system is very important. If they have no changes, they will stop working. We cannot build civil society, without NGOs, "- the Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan said.

RT President, Chairman of Supervision board of Special economic zone “Alabuga” Rustam Minnikhanov held session of Supervision board of “Special economic zone of industrial-production type “Alabuga”. The project of creating universal high-tech enterprise for production of packaging materials was presented to members of Supervision board. It is meant that this production will be widely used in many market segments. The project was presented by Director General of “KPK Alabuga” Evgeni Kharitonov. It is planned to be deployed at two sites - on the territory of industrial park of Chistopol city (within the limits of program of supporting single-industry towns) and on the territory of Special economic zone “Alabuga”. The project is to be financed at the expense of founders and RF Investment fund.

Regular reception of citizens in a videoconferencing mode was held on February 8 by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The head of the Republic listened to the residents of 7 regions from the study at Kazan Kremlin.Helena Magina, the resident of Kalinino village of Vysokogorsky District, has asked the President to help her in promotion the acquisition of the tractor-leasing program grant. Her economy is already about 100 pigs and 700 rabbits, but to expand the farmstead she needs land and machinery for its processing. Rustam Minnikhanov contacted Timur Shagivaleev, Chairman of Small and Medium-size Enterprises Development Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan and instructed to consider a request to allocate it to the farmer and to present her a lease-grant for purchasing the required equipment.

In connection with seasonal growth of prices for fruit and vegetable production for the purpose of providing population with products by reasonable prices Government of Tatarstan Republic has made decision to organize agricultural fairs on February,12 - April,30. This was announced today by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov at briefing in RT Cabinet. Fairs will be held weekly on Saturdays at five markets in Kazan and two markets in Naberezhnye Chelny. Agricultural producers from all republican regions, enterprises of agro-industrial complex and investment companies will take part in fairs.

President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov met with Consul-general of Islamic Republic Iran in Kazan Reza Bagban Kondori. The meeting was dedicated to completion of work of Consul-general in Tatarstan Republic in connection with transfer to another job. Opening the event, Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated Reza Bagban Kondori on national holiday – Day of Islamic revolution that is celebrated on February,11. He thanked Mr Consul for fruitful work. RT President reminded that today there are strong relations between Tatarstan and Iran in cultural sphere, educational programs. In particular, Iran intensively participates in festival of Muslim cinema that is held in Kazan. By words of Rustam Minnikhanov, there is a great desire to consolidate relations in economic sector. He wished Reza Bagban Kondori successful career and expressed hope that Consul general would be the same active, sociable and friendly towards Tatarstan Republic.

On February,7 RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held meeting with delegation of Kyrgyzstan Republic which stayed in Tatarstan with official visit. The event was also attended by RT Deputy Prime Minister Ravil Muratov, Director of Department of external relations under RT President – Aide to RT President on international issues Timur Akulov, RT Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov, RT Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, RT Minister of labor, employment and social protection Airat Shafigullin, Head of Department of higher, secondary professional education and science under RT Cabinet office Marina Fairushina, rector of KGTU Sergey Diakonov, Director of Kazan branch of Russian state trade-economic university Andrey Artemiev. “We are pleased to receive such representative delegation of Kyrgyzstan Republic by few reasons, - firstly, our nations have friendly relations, - Head of the Government said opening the meeting. - Tatarstan is realizing many innovations in educational sector: the strategy of education development in RT which has many components has been accepted and is being realized”.

Kazan is likely to host the first session of Russia-Singapore Business Club, which was created in the framework of Russia-Singapore Business Forum. It was reported t on February 7 at the meeting of RT President with Michael Tay, Executive Director of the Russia-Singapore Business Forum. Ildar Khalikov, the RT Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Midhat Shagiahmetov, Minister of Economy, Iskander Muflikhanov and Anatoly Krasnov, Aides to the President took part in the meeting, which was held in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.Due to Iskander Muflikhanov, the perspectives of cooperation in the field of water purification plants on Singapore technologies were discussed during the meeting. Rustam Minnikhanov instructed to gather a working group in order to consider the possibilities of organizing the production of these plants in Tatarstan.
