State Counselor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of Supervisory board of the Republican fund of historical and cultural monuments Mintimer Shaimiev held a meeting on issue of installing the sculpture “Guardian” in Bolgar in the context of project “Cultural heritage of Tatarstan: old town of Bolgar and island town Sviyazhsk”.
Exhibition of the furniture company Mekran has been presented to the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov today. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, RT Minister of construction, architecture, housing and utilities Irek Faizullin, Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Chief of Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov also viewed the exposition.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with the Russian Minister of regional development Viktor Basargin during his working trip to Moscow.
A session of the republican Commission for prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety “On readiness of territorial subsystem of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations of RT for implementing measures on passing melt waters and prevention of possible emergency situations during the spring flood -2012” will be held on March 29 in Tatarstan.
In the Republic of Tatarstan ice drift is expected in the first decade of April. Such an information was presented by the deputy head of SI “Department for hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring of RT” Galina Zhdanova at a traditional briefing in the House of RT Government. The briefing in format of teleconference with all municipal regions was dedicated to preparation for accident-free passing of flood water in RT.

A special session of the Council of Kaibitsky municipal region (the Republic of Tatarstan) was held in Bolshie Kaibitsy on March 19. New head of the region was elected at the session. According to the proposal of the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov Albert Rakhmatullin was appointed to the post.
Results of work of the Republican fund “Vozrozhdenie” in 2011 have been summarized and tasks for 2012 set in the Kazan Kremlin. For a short period the Republican fund “Vozrozhdenie” has gained solid experience to carry out effective work in future. Such a statement was made by Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev at a session of the Council of trustees of the Republican fund of cultural and historical monuments today.
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a working meeting in Nizhnekamsk at the Complex of oil-refining and petrochemical plants on March 18. Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Aide to RT President Rinat Sabirov, Director general of JSC Tatneft Shafagat Takhautdinov, Chief of Volga department of Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision Boris Petrov, Head of Nizhnekamsk municipal region Aidar Metshin, chiefs of contract construction, design and pre-commissioning organizations.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the construction site of a new football stadium for 45 000 seats and held a working meeting in the site office on issues of the stadium equipping on March 16. Tatarstan Premier Ildar Khalikov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the event.
