On August,16 several documents were signed between JSC “KAMAZ” and Marcopolo in presence of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Agreement of intentions was signed by Director-general of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergei Kogogin, one of co-founders and main stakeholder of “Marcopolo” Valter Gomes Pinto, Director-general of “Marcopolo” José Rubens de la Rosa and Director-general of “PoloAvtoRus” Yuri Eduardo Caio.

August, 17. Several agreements have been signed within the limits of working trip of Tatarstan delegation led by PM Ildar Khalikov at international aerospace show MAKS-2011. Head of RT government put his signature in Interregional agreement on commercial-economic and social-cultural cooperation in the sphere of aviation. The agreement concluded by five Russian regions implies cooperation in development of interregional air transport, airports and minor aviation. Besides Ildar Khalikov the document was signed by Deputy Governor of Ulianovsk region Vildan Zinnurov.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov offered top management of JBS Company (Brazil) to visit Republic and assess the possibility of creating a joint enterprise for producing beef. Tatarstan delegation met with executives of JBS in São Paulo city. During negotiations Rustam Minnikhanov introduced agro-industrial complex of republic and expressed interest towards cooperation with Brazil agricultural giant. “Tatastan offers to foreign investors a developed industrial, transport and innovative infrastructure, high scientific and technical potential”, - Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.

August,15. On arriving to São Paulo (Brazil) President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a working dinner for members of International advisory board of business school Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC). Rustam Minnikhanov thanked executives of the business school for opportunity to attend a meeting and introduce Tatarstan as one of the leading and rapidly developing Russian regions.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working visit to Federal Republic Brazil on August 15-19. It is the first visit of Tatarstan authorities as one of RF regions to countries of Latin America. The visit is aimed to establishment and development of economic and cultural relations with São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro authorities as economically developed regions of Brazil, investigation of investment climate in Brazil as a country with rapidly expanding economy.

Currently more than a half of sown area has been harvested in Tatarstan. Such information was given by RT Vice-premier – Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov at a meeting in House of RT Government held by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. According to M.Akhmetov last week was very favorable for harvesting. “52 % of area has been harvested in republic”, - Head of Ministry of agriculture and foodstuff said. Currently 200 thousand tons of crops are being milled in republic within 24 hours. In general, harvesting works are organized in all the regions of republic. 1,7 mln. tons of feed units are procured in Tatarstan.
